Geocache Description:

In honor of the Historic Neigbhorhood for Cradock, this geocache is literally (and physically) at the bottom of the Anchor.

The Coordinates will take you to the "bottom" of the Anchor.

My inspiration for this Geocache is from GC8880 (The Cradock Cache), which is the first cache Bender Oak the Dog (and I) ever found.

The Historic neighborhood of Cradock in Portsmouth has an interesting, and somewhat unknown story. I had never heard of the place until a couple of wrong turns while driving. Cradock was one of the nation's first planned communities, built for the ship welders and growing industry in the area at the time. You can learn more about it here:
(visit link)

The original plot design of Cradock was an Anchor with plots and the town center based on the outline of the Anchor. It's a wonderful honor to currently live in a neighborhood built to support both the Navy and the growing industry of a Young America.

This geocache is literally (and figuratively) at the bottom of the Anchor.

Note: This is a Nano cache, and is carefully placed. Please be sure to place the Nano EXACTLY where it was found, as this "Anchor" can often be neglected and subject to the ill's of the environment. You are looking for a tiny black bullet Nano Cache with Log.

The Coordinates will take you to the "bottom" of the Anchor.

I gave this cache a slightly higher difficulty rating due to traffic and the fact it's a tiny black Nano.
