Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates. Instead, it's somewhere where you can park nearby. This cache would also be great on a bike.

42. It's a number that comes up a lot, sometimes in unusual places. It's the number of pips on a pair of dice. A popular book says that it's the answer to the ultimate question of life, the Universe, and everything. As for me, I figured that before I have another birthday, I figured I'd better do a 42-themed puzzle.

North
A. Find a single two-word phrase in 4 and 2 letters that completes each of the three pairs of blanks in this geocaching paragraph: "She wanted to climb to have a ____ __ over the hill. When we got back to the trail, I asked her to ____ __ the cache description on her device, since I thought we were near the cache. She did, and it said to ____ __ to the second branch for the cache container."
B. Number of letters of the country where GC42 was placed.
C. How many factors does 42 have that are greater than 1 and less than 42?
D. How far apart in the alphabet are the leading letters of the two words you determined in Question A? If both words start with the same letter, your answer would be zero. (Make sure your answer is 13 or less.)
E. Form a number by writing the answers to B, C, and D in the usual, left-to-right direction. (Do not multiply.) This number will have 3 or 4 digits.
F. Last name of Princeton University's Heisman Trophy winner who wore the number. (Take the initial letter and map it to a number using A=1 through Z=26.)

West
G. This "42" is a two-word term (first word starts with 4?!, second word starts with 2?!) that describes a 6-Love, 6-Love tennis match (it could also be said that "girl got no game").
H. Number of letters that appear twice in the answer to Question G.
I. Number of letters in the last name of the baseball player whose uniform number, 42, was retired across all major league teams.
J. First letter of state where GC4242 was placed.
K. Form a number by writing the answers to H, I, and J in the usual, left-to-right direction. This number will have 4 digits.

The final container is at N 38° 3N.NNN W 121° 4W.WWW.
N.NNN = E * F / 1000
W.WWW = K / 1000

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
