Back before the fall of the Great Lakes this was the shoreline where "Captain Cliff Connor" landed in order to hide his treasure. He was under pursuit of pirates and needed to stash it quickly and go. Now that the lakes are low the treasure is high up on a ridge. You will need to do some hill climbing. Please do not walk on the ski trails when you head for this one. You will have to cross over them however. Snowshoes are a good idea as the snow in the woods is kinda deep here at this time of year(February)
This cache is a plastic container about 2"diameter by 4" long and is stored inside another. There are some small trade items, log book and pencil and of course some loot.
