This cache is to commemorate the finishing of our beloved Thomson by-pass.
It took many years, millions of dollars and many little traffic cones lost their lives during the process. It was painful for most of us locals, with road closings, detours, new traffic lights, flagmen, and just overall aggravation of not being able to drive where we wanted to. Now we must all learn new routes and face the fact that unless we up-grade our gpsr’s the new road doesn't even show up. A constant reminder from our little in-car voice to “make a u-turn" and get back on track.
Well our surgery is over and there are lots of new places to hide a quick cache along the new route.
This should be an easy cache for most so have fun.
