Geocache Description:

This cache is at the Karpeles Manuscript Museum and Library, the world’s largest private collection of original manuscripts and documents.

The library was founded in 1983 by California real estate magnates, David and Marsha Karpeles, with the goal of stimulating interest in learning, especially in children. There are nine Karpeles museums across the US. Items are rotated between museums and each of museum presents a daily general exhibit and one or more special scheduled exhibits throughout the year. Each of the libraries is located in an historic building. Shreveport's used to be a First Church of Christ Scientist.

You are looking for a round lock-n-lock with trade items, log book, and a special FTF prize. Bring a pen, please make sure the lid is on securely, and hide better than you found!

The museum hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm. You can use museum parking or park on the street. Please take time to enjoy the small garden next to the museum. ***Congratulations TitusLlewelyn for FTF***
