Geocache Description:

Here is a cache by PanamaCachers507 located at the ex-Canal Zone in front of the Administration Building.

Placed on Valentine's Day 2011.

The cache is a 35mm film canister with an Official Geocache label. Original content includes: custom logbook, pencil, bilingual stash note, koala peruvian artcraft and a cute winged heart keychain for FTF.

You will find medium to high muggler activity depending of the time and day. So you will have to be extremely careful when retreiving this one.

PLEASE USE ALL YOUR STEALTH ON THIS ONE. A LOT OF MUGGLES AROUND ALMOST ALL DAY LONG. RE-HIDE THE CACHE AS WELL AS YOU FOUND IT.

About El Prado:

The most outstanding project of the ex-Canal Zone was the new government center in Balboa, built in 1914-15 and designed by New York architect Austin W. Lord, at that time Dean of the Department of Architecture at Columbia University. The masterpieces of that grand complex are the Administration Building and the boulevard in front of it, called El Prado in memory of the famous Havana boulevard of the same name.

El Prado has the exact dimensions as the locks on the Panama Canal and is surronded by big old royal palms back from 1910s.
