*** NEW LOCATION THIS YEAR ***
Well this years chili cook off almost didn't happen due to the
unavailability of our previous venue. But thanks to Team Peterson
and First Evangelical Covenant Church, the event will go on.
The only way this event will be successful is if all of you take a
chance and make a pot of chili for everyone else to judge. I have
had the great privilege to try some very delicious and unique
chili's and I'm sure this year will be no different.
The first 10 to
say they are bringing a chili will be entered into the competition.
If you don't want to make chili but still want to bring something,
extra things to eat and drink are always welcome.
The
event page will be updated with a list of who’s bringing
what. All preparation will need to be done before hand and brought
to the event in crock pots to keep it warm. If your not into making
chili, we would welcome other food items or some 2 liters of
Non-alcoholic beverages for everyone to enjoy.
When making your pot of chili, PLEASE make a pot large enough to
serve approx. 175-200 people.
Serving size approx. 1/4 cup
Each year several people have run out early, so
be sure to come prepared for a BIG crowd.

We will be providing spoons and taste testing bowls. Also on hand
will be a large cooler of lemon aide and a large cooler of ice
water, oh yea,we'll have cups too.
