Geocache Description:

Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone is the first novel in the Harry Potter series written by J. K. Rowling and featuring Harry Potter, a young wizard. It describes how Harry discovers he is a wizard, makes close friends and a few enemies at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and with the help of his friends thwarts an attempted comeback by the evil wizard Voldemort, who killed Harry's parents when Harry was one year old.

Having read the Harry Potter books as an adult and watched all of the films so far we thought it would be a great idea to do a series on them. Although primarily aimed at children these are a great series of books which should be enjoyed by all. Our challange to you is to actually read the book and not just skim the pages but the choice is yours!

Happy reading!
