Potash Hill Remembered Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Potash Hill is now the site of the Highland Commons shopping area. This location should provide a winter-friendly park and grab with an excellent view overlooking the town of Hudson.
When I was originally walking in this area (about 2003), I remember spotting a few deer and a family of about a dozen turkeys. But, things have changed quite a bit since then...
Much of the wild habitat may now be gone... But, on the bright side, this area now offers a fantastic view that was never possible before. So, let's make the best of things - and enjoy what we still can of Potash Hill.
This cache was hidden with 3 feet of snow on the ground and on a morning just after the plows had done their thing. So, it should definitely be winter friendly! Also, when the snow is gone, it should be wheelchair accessible too. Enjoy!
The container should be just large enough for some smaller TB's. BYOP and please consider using your vehicle to help conceal your search. Even with the relatively secluded location, there may be some wary security eyes in the area.
Congrats to Boston Brewins on the FTF!
