Maplewood Cemetery Traditional Cache

The Clatskanie Historical Society is applying for Historic Cemetery Status. Back in October of 2010, there was concern about some of the older tombstones were being damaged by the landscapers mowers.
The Mayor and other officials, toured the cemetery and after seeing the damage for herself, the Mayor promised to become involved in the effort to stop the damage and restore the cemetery. She suggested that community groups – such as the Masons, veterans groups and the historical society – join with the city in donating labor and funds towards the project.
Once the cemetery receives “historic” status it will be eligible for grants to aid in gravestone restoration.
You are looking for a small recycled medication bottle. Cords are probably off due to tree coverage. Because I don't want my fellow cachers driving all the way out here and not finding the cache, I posted a picture for you.

07/04/11 - I should add that the entrance to Maplewood Cemetery is on SE Conyers Street. If you are on Rt 30, go South on S. Nehelam St., then left on SE 7th St and left on SE Conyers St. The entrance will be on your left where the flag pole is.
