This cache replaces PM's Resting Place which was archived in October 2010 after it went missing. In a strange twist of fate, one of the younger members of the Paua Rangers spotted it in the wrong place a couple of months later. The box is new but the lid is from the original cache!
The Massey Memorial is a beautiful place to visit whilst in Wellington. It has some of the nicest views of the harbour around. Access is via a walking track off Shelley Bay Road, just before Point Halswell. A small car park is located opposite the start of the walking track.
Once the Massey Memorial is reached you will need to follow the obvious track away from the memorial, and after a few metres you will see a small track off to your left near the post. The cache is a 1L camo painted Sistema container. Please be sure to cover this well when re-hiding.
