If doing the Tarawera River Walk (GC2NACJ) carry on to do this one...add approximately an hour an half to two hours onto the trip if doing the complete loop back to your vehicle. TAKE CARE OF KIDS NEAR THE RIVER
If you go to S38 06.131 E176 42.263 you will see where you will end up. You could swim it but need to be a competent river swimmer, please be aware of currents / debris etc
