Tottle Brook Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

TheCFCs: We went to check on the cache tonight whilst on a maintenance run and found that the container has gone... again. As we're imminently moving out of the area we've decided to archive the cache. Thanks to all who have found it.

Geocache Description:

A small disguised cache on a bridge overlooking Tottle Brook.

Map

Tottle brook is shown on the above map of Wollaton from 1901. (the "Model Cottage" is directly opposite the cache site). It runs from up near Shaws Plantation, flows through Wollaton, and the University Park filling up the paddling pool, through Dunkirk and finally into the River Trent. The brook is easily visible on the Open Street Map.

Parking as available in the nearby Bramcote lane shops car park, on street nearby or in the pub car park just over the road.

The actual cache is a nano/micro and is wearing a disguise. Please take extra care to make sure you don't drop the cache into the water below! Tweezers (or similar) may be helpful in getting the log out.

Congratulations to CelineM for a very quick FTF!
