Julia's Birthday Cache
A couple of convenient car parking spaces at the side of the road make this accessible to most. The footpath will take you through a pig farm. At certain times of the year the piglets are a delight!
Beware, if the weather has been inclement it will be rather muddy underfoot.
It seemed the perfect opportunity to mark my 50th birthday with my first cache hide. Julia's Birthday Cache was created for 15th February 2011.
This cache is in an area where I grew up and spent many hours playing as a child, although a lot of the surroundings have changed since then. My friends and I would cycle all around here and play in the streams and wooded areas. It's a long time ago now, but I spent ages exploring in the vicinity. This place brings back very happy memories, which I'm bound to think of on my special day.
I will celebrating my birthday with my family close by and look forward to finding out who will be the 'first to find'.
If it goes well, I might be encouraged to make some more!
