Geocache Description:

This cache is quite a hike and one should ensure that you have enough water for a 3 to 4 hour trip. The rewards are great and one does not get views of Hout Bay and surrounds like this from other areas. There are significant drop-offs nearby and one should take care especially in windy or wet conditions. The cache is NOT hidden near the edge or in any way dangerous to retrieve. It is a small cylindrical container that would accept small trade items only. It is hidden in a hole with a vertical and horizontal opening and covered with a few rocks. This area of flat rocks make an excellent breakfast or lunchstop.

The good trail will lead you here with a bit of rock-hopping for the last stages.
There are two beacons near here and are both clearly visible although one has partly fallen over.

The start of your journey can be either from Silvermine, Constantia Neck or East Fort on the Chapmans Peak drive. If you choose to start from Constantia Neck, head for the Vlakkenberg trail just on the Hout Bay side of the car-park.
