Doodledogs: I’m cutting back on my caches. Thanks to everyone who has found this one. Maybe a local cacher can reset a new one here!

This cache has been set for the 'I LOVE GEOCACHING' (GC2MDBK) event on 26/02/2011.
This is an enjoyable short hill walk on Christ's Kirk Hill not far from the town of Insch. It should only be a half hour round trip unless you want to hang about or venture further on.
The Kirk to which this hill refers is long gone. It was situated near Sleepytown Farm.
Walk uphill from where I have set the parking co-ordinates. Take a track to the right after 100yrds or so, then keep following the tracks until you reach the cache site. It may seem as if you're heading the wrong way as you get nearer the cache, but the track soon shows you a way to the right again! You start going downhill again as you approach the cache site.
The views from the cache site overlook Dunnydeer hill and the fort . Also views going out the Kennethmont road and Insch.
To make your walk a circular route, walk back down to the car park by walking alongside the fence which overlooks Dunnydeer.
You can walk on further from the cache site higher up the hill, but there are sheep there all year round, and as many cachers have dogs I didn't want to place a cache there.
You will still be near the sheep at the cache site, so please keep dogs nearby and under control. Thank you :)
Thank you very much to the Landowner, Nicholas Thomson, for letting us place a cache here.
There is an unactivated geocoin as a FTF prize :)
