Good Luck Bad Luck - Horseshoe Traditional Cache
lobosox: We went by and checked on this today and found the bison tube with no horseshoe. We're beginning to think this park is not the best for caches. We will get a second version of this going so the series will stay intact.

Some believe you make your own luck, others think there are items and rituals that can give you good luck for a day or bad luck for 7 years. The symbols that portray good or bad luck are open to interpretation. Some symbols such as ladybugs and 4 leaf clovers are universally thought to bring good fortune, but others have very different interpretations depending on the culture or simply the position of the object.
This is a five part series. The first four caches are related to several symbols and there interpretations. The final is a mystery cache. You will get the coordinates for the mystery cache from the four traditional caches.
Good Luck:
When kept as a talisman, a horseshoe is said to bring good luck. Many believe that to hang it with the ends pointing upwards is good luck as it acts as a storage container of sorts for any good luck that happens to be floating by.
Bad Luck:
To hang it with the ends pointing down, is bad luck as all the good luck will fall out
