Geocache Description:

Small container with a log and room for small swag and trackables. There may be a height issue for tiny cachers :)

This is the first in an achitecture related series.

The Kenosha Public Museum was built by the architectural firm of Engberg Anderson who is also responsible for The Kenosha Civil War Museum, General Mitchell International Airport, Milwaukee City Hall, The Historic Third Ward River Walk, and One at North End (my favorite.)

Symbolizing the glacier that formed the regions geography, the design of this natural history museum features a two story wedge through the middle of the building. Museum elements include skeletal remains of a woolly mammoth excavated nearby in Paris WI.

This cache was placed with permission of G. John Ruffolo

This cache is located outside the museum and there is no need to go anywhere near the flowers. You should DEFINITELY stay on the paved path.

The Museum is open daily. General admission is free. Group fees may apply. Sunday-Monday 12 Noon-5PM
Tuesday-Saturday 9AM-5PM

Museum will be closed on: Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Congrats to MCJ_r_Us on the FTF
