Another Cricket Club Cache
Salem Cricket Club is one of the older clubs in the district, if
you visit during a cricket game take a look around inside and the
pictures will show it! The church overlooking the field dates
to 1850, and is a National Monument. The cricket field probably
dates to around the same period. If you have time, take a stroll
through the churchyard; it is beautiful.
While the focus of this cache is the cricket club, we have decided
not to put the actual container here, due to the muggle issues in
the area (visit
GCWVRN for the details). The coordinates will take you to the
cricket field. Once there, you must find the main scoreboard and
count how many letters there are on it. Don''t worry about the
numbers, letters only. This will give you a two digit number:
xy
The final location has a view of the field, but is well away from
muggle eyes. Drive to the cache at: S33 28.(x) (x+y+3)
0 E026 28.(x+y) (x+y-3) 3 to complete the find.
Legend has it that once upon a time the main road used to run right
between the wicket! Though how much of this is legend and how much
is fact is hard to tell...
FTF goes to besem.
