You remember Clyde? From Cache City? Well, he's decided
to visit the area...
Clyde has come to visit Fredericksburg. But he has no car, so he
has to take a cab everywhere. On his first day here, he decided to
try out the area's coffee shops. So he visited the one at 301
William St in the 'burg (I can't name it here...google it...) While
he was there, someone told him about a great one in Colonial
Beach...at 215 Washington Ave (use Mapquest). Clyde decided to go,
so he hailed a cab.
The cab rates are $2.50 for the first 1/9 mile and $.25 for each
additional 1/9 mile (or fraction) after that.
How much did Clyde's ride to Colonial Beach cost? Let's call it
$AB.CD.
While in Colonial Beach, someone told him about another Coffee Shop
down the road, so, after finishing his espresso, he hailed another
cab and went to the other coffee shop. He paid $17.00 for that
ride. How far did he travel? Let's call that EF.G miles (no
rounding).
