Geocache Description:


När Motala kraftverk anlades 1917-1922 dämdes
Motala ström upp med följd att bland annat Hårstorps gård
lades under vatten. Ett gårdshus flyttades till Östermalmsgatan i Motala,
det så kallade Röda korshuset. Hur många fönster (F) och
skorstenar (S) kan du se från den plats som koordinaterna anger ? Det är
byggnaden tvärs över gatan som avses.
Cachen är gömd på en plats där man vid lämplig årstid
kan se Hårstorpssjön och kanske till och med den lilla holmen som markerar
platsen där gårdshuset en gång stod.
Gå till N 58 32.(F x 50 - S x 5) E 15 02.(F x 80).

This building that is now used by the Red Cross
in Motala was moved to this place about a hundred years ago. Where it once stood
is now a dam and has been so since the Motala Ström hydro power station
was built in the early 1920’s.
The cache is not hidden here. You will find it if you count the number of windows
(F) and chimneys (S) that can be seen on the building across the street from
the posted coordinates.
The cache is at N 58 32.(F x 50 - S x 5) E 15 02.(F x 80).
