Geocache Description:

You'll either love us or hate us -- at least that was the general consensus as we hid the last of the few caches during this little trip.

We were a bit delirious at this point, and a bit beaten up. Let me explain.

We had a monstrous bushwack from the old woods road that this cache is on up to the Long Path, were we sorta followed it (blazes were non-existent at times, and if they were there, we sure didn't see them) and sorta made our own path. And then we decided to bushwack back down the mountain in our attempt to find this old woods road (again) to lead us our vehicle.

On our way down, we (read: CF and I) both slipped and slid a good number of feet on the ice. Now, remember -- 2.5 feet of snow, with a nice covering of ice on top. Sliding (fast) down that hill with snow shoes on . . . how are ya gonna stop? Find a big tree, turn your self into it, and HOPE that you don't break anything. And that is what I did. (CF claims that she gracefully reached out and easily grabbed a tree that slowed her descent. I don't believe her.)

I was limping the rest of the way home, trudging through the snow, when all of sudden, I saw some nookie. And I just had to stick something in that little nookie hole. And now you get a smilie for my efforts. (That is, if you take on the challenge of venturing this far out the mountain!)
