Dural Berowra Regional Park Traditional Cache
Dural Berowra Regional Park
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This geocache adventure will lead you to the edge of the Berowra Regional Park wilderness, in South Dural, where you'll find many trails to explore. The Great North Walk is nearby.
For instance, if you proceed just a couple of kilometres beyond GZ, down the main fire trail, you can access the legendary Great North Walk.
You can also continue across the GNW & eventually arrive in Hornsby!
Stretching beyond the metal gate at the end of Quarry Road in Dural is a good quality fire trail that leads for many kilometres through some very nice bushland. My wife and I have taken countless walks here in the 38 years that we've lived and worked in the Dural area.
I hope you'll take the opportunity to have a stroll through the bush and perhaps encounter one of the many wallabies that live in the area.
Some imagination and sharp perception may be needed in order to find this well concealed geocache! Unlike the wallabies, who tend to emerge only at dawn and dusk, this container will be in place 24/7, in all weathers.
Please do not disturb the trees and bushes near the published coordinates and stay completely away from the driveway of the last house on Quarry Road.
A quiet and contemplative search is in order here. You won't need to travel very far at all from where you park your vehicle.
This geocache is almost -- but not quite -- wheelchair accessible. Remember that the Regional Park boundary may not start exactly where you think it should start!
And finally, please bring your own pencil . . .
