Geocache Description:

This is a micro with room for a log only so please bring your own pencil. No room for anything else. It is wheelchair accessible to within a metre or so of the cache.

The cache is located at Mary Bray Park but not amongst any of the memorials.It is accessible from several directions. Have lived in this area for a while and thought it would be nice to do some tribute caches to some of the pioneers of the area. This is the first of them for us and this one is the partner of Bray Park's John. Mary and John Bray were husband and wife and both laid to rest in the cemetery in the park along with other members of the family. This is a lovely spot near by to the river and a quiet place to wander the paths and also enjoy the view sdown to the river. The only time I have seen it busy here was during the recent Queensland floods as many sightseers stood in awe of the power of the flooded vally. Fortunately the water never made it up to the park.
