Geocache Description:

Built in 1968 this is the pool where records have been made and broken. Legendary swimmers from Mark Spitz to Michael Phelps have made a splash here in what was once the most state of the art pool in the world. It is still the site of swim meets for some of the worlds fasterst swimmers. It seems like only yesterday that I was standing on the blocks hearing my name read off before CIF finals. Little did I know that 15 years later I would be living right down the street hiding little canisters around the premises. On the weekends this place can be a hotbed for muggles when swim meets are being held so beware but by and large its pretty empty most of the time. the cache is located in a place with pretty good cover and not a lot of traffic. Watch for skateboarders filming. They can be a wiley bunch as we all know. And of course BYOP. Also Please do not tear up any pipe insulation as a previous cache in the area was responsible for this happening. Besides it won't do you any good.
