Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a series of presidential caches.

These caches will come in a variety of sizes, difficulties and terrains. They will be placed all across the area. Hopefully everyone will enjoy finding them.

Chester Arthur U.S. president number 21. He was born October 5, 1829 in Vermont. He died on November 18, 1886. He became president on September 19, 1881 after the assasination of James Garfield. He remained in office until March 4, 1885. He was affiliated with the Republican party. One of his major accomplishments was to pass civil service reform banning salary kickbacks, apportioning federal appointments among the states, and forcing new employees to begin their service at the bottom of the career ladder..

This will probably be one of the easiest in this series. There is parking nearby. A short walk and you will quickly have this one in hand. I decided to go with an easy one after a couple of tougher ones (19 and 20). While you are there, look for the other two nearby caches. Have fun.
