Geocache Description:


This cache is an easy hike from the parking area. All surfaces are graveled with the exception of where the cache is hidden, which is in a grassy area. Please feel free to explore other areas of the park while you look for this cache.

This cache is a micro cache, contained within a natural object container. Contents of the cache are as follows: log sheet, so you will need to bring your own writing utensil and a historic scroll describing the park in its former life.

The cache will contain information on where to pick up your collector's card.


This cache is part of the Virginia State Parks 75th Anniversary Geocaching Adventure. Each state park has a cache for this series, each with a unique collector’s card. There are small prizes for finding 5, 10, 20, and ALL of the caches. Most parks require a small parking fee while geocaching. For more information go to: www.virginiaoutdoors.com.
