Geocache Description:

A micro cache with a view over this scenic waterfall. Some silverware to start.

The Mgeni (Umgeni) river rises in the Umgeni Vlei, flows through the Dargle Valley in the Midlands and meanders its way to Durban. The river flows trough 4 dams – the Midmar Dam, Albert Falls Dam, Nagle Dam and Inanda Dam, over a length of 232km. There are several spectacular waterfalls along the river including the Howick Falls.

Above Midmar, several kilometres along the Dargle road, we came across another waterfall. This water feature appears to be unnamed on our maps. Although much smaller, it is still a very pretty spot worth a visit and a cache. Be cautious of the drop!
