In memory of a dry wit, Mr Albert Presser
Presser Albert
This cache has been placed to honor an eccentric bachelor farmer who lived near bye.
He was known for his dry wit that was enjoyed by many in years gone by.
I can recall a night where he stood on stage and told the audience in a dry monotonous voice, how he went up the river, the mosquitoes were that bad he decided to sleep the night in a rain water tank, as the stings of the mosquitoes pieced the tank he would bend them over with a hammer, next morning he woke up at Parrafield air port some 45 miles away, when he peered out he saw one of the mosquitoes on the runway where the runway attendances were pumping in fuel, not realizing it wasn’t an aeroplane.
If the audience wasn’t laughing enough he would tell them of his Flee Powder.
He would start of by stating how in the depression years to make a few bob he would make flee powder,
He would take a couple of bricks and rub them together, collect the dust and sell it as flee powder.
All went well until a little old lady took him to court for fraud, however he explained to the judge that his flee powder really works. He said you catch a flee, tickle him and when it laughs you pour the powder down its throat and the flee would choke and die, case dismissed.
You are looking for a small screw top container with a note book and some small swaps (not to much room for bigger ones) bring along your favorite writing stick. Please replace the cache in the spot you found it.
enjoy
