You are asked to help George deliver a letter to father Gustavensen who rests peacefully in the forest. Make your way to Maple Ridge and locate 256 St and 102nd Ave. Continue North on 256th and you will see before you a yellow gate, the gate is normally locked so this is good advice on where you should park. Walk up 256th on the gravel road a short distance, look to your right and you will see a wooden fence protecting a metal fence and a "sign" from George to let you know you are on the right path. This is where the "posted coord's" will take you, from here you will need to follow the directions written below to seek the treasure.
Pass through the metal fence and travel aproximately 100 paces... Here you will have to make a decision but don't take too long as George is a very quick gnome and he is running at "highway" speed. Up ahead of you is a place where George may need your help so his feet don't get wet. After a ways you will come to a place where the trail wants to turn you to your left ... but that is not the way to the forest of gnomes. Take the smaller dirt trail straight ahead that runs by a 12' tall stump with a tree growing from it's top.... if you soon pass a burnt out "teepee" stump on your left you are going in the right direction. On your journey you will see a sign of "luck run out" and a mighty tree that grows over the path. Again, George will need your help as he is scared of the trolls that live under bridges and there are two ahead of you. Some distance further George runs into "Pauline" on his right and he gives her a wave but he does not stop, he just passes by. George sees a tree growing in the middle of the trail and knows he is close to the enchanted forest and so very close to getting his letter to father Gustavensen. From the tree centered on the path the entrance is only about 45 paces ahead. To the right George sees a square moss covered rock, to left he sees where one of his friends is hanging out at knee hight in a "V"... look further in and you should spy a wee one peeking around the base of a tree calling you deeper into the forest. Close by look for a "X" and stand before it...this is the doorway you seek. Pass through the doorway, tread lightly now and go slowly forward, keeping the larger tree on your left side. Here you must have keen eyes as there is another gnome close by who is very shy at ground level and when you find him look harder to find another friend and follow him.... He will lead you to George's silly brother who likes to be a little mischievious. It is he who will show you where to find Gustavensen and the letterbox.
