Geocache Description:


You have probably seen posters that feature some interesting architecture of a town, city or rural area. Perhaps it was the “Doors of San Francisco”, Boat Houses of the St. Lawrence”, “Doors of Pittsford”, “Out Houses of the Adirondacks” or the basis for this multi cache, “The Barns of Pittsford”. Many, but not all, of the barns you’ll visit are featured on this 2008 Historical Pittsford poster. You will most likely drive to the eight barns where you’ll answer questions that will be used to determine the final cache location. You can do the barns in any order you’d like. Use the information collected to calculate the final coordinates of the cache as follows: N 43*02.ABC W077*33.XYZ A=BN05+BN01 B=BN02+BN06 C=BN03 X=BN05 Y=BN08-BN02 Z=BN07+BN02+BN04-BN01 The cache is a medium size lock and lock full of trade items. This is one of the containers I won at the 4H Cache Bash in June. Captain Jon had hidden 8 containers in Woodward Lodge and I was lucky enough to find them all and win the drawing.
