Day each year. For the past few years, a military parachute team
has landed near the park to start the occasion. A band from the
Marine Corps at 29 Palms has played here in the past. A plaque in
front of the war memorial tells when the Reedsport-Gardiner Lions
Club dedicated the memorial. Take the year of the dedication and
