We are opened during daylight hrs Mon-Sun. The coordinates provided are to North Georgia Canopy Tours. Authorized participation in the NGCT "Flew the Coop" geocahe requires registration at the Canopy Command Center.
Please complete the puzzle to obtain the coordinates to the first cache. Our multi-cache requires light to moderate hiking and will cover a distance of approximately a mile.

The “Flew the Coop” is a fun and unique five stage geocache located on the property of North Georgia Canopy Tours in Lula, Georgia. This multi-cache includes four micro-caches and a grand finale cache. So keep your eyes peeled! And get excited!!
First off, a little history for you! You will be traveling to Lula, Georgia which is located in Hall County, “the poultry capital of the world”. After WWII, poultry replaced cotton as the cash crop and increased the number of jobs in the area tremendously. Jesse Dickson Jewell of Gainesville, Georgia was a celebrated person for his enterprising in the chicken industry and became a key national leader of the poultry industry for more than 20 years. As a result of his leadership, this area became the largest integrated chicken producer in the world. To discover how the poultry industry plays a part in our company, you must find Jesse Jewell’s date of birth and complete the following problem to obtain the north and west coordinates. To complete the math problems convert Jewell’s birth date into numeric form (month/date/year); using all four digits of the year.
For the North Coordinates: Add his birth date to 290,443. Fill in the blanks with your result.
