This cache is placed in an almost forgotten peaceful park along side the Bass Hwy. This was the site that Henry Hellyer camped at on May 8th 1827, and 5 months later on October 9th 1827 the Vans Diemens Land Company chief Edward Curr decided to establish this township which would later be called Burnie.
Cache is only a small container. At time of placement it contained a log book and pencil, there is no room for swaps.
This is my first time at hiding a cache, hopefully it wont be neither too easy or too hard. Please replace as found.
