Geocache Description:

Bring your mountain goat skills, you'll probably need them.

This is a (mostly) true story.

It mainly features three cachers and one truck.

One day loyal sidekick Little Wooden Boy decided to begin The Great Pond Excavation. The end product was a giant mound of dirt which threatened to overcome the yard, the neighbor's yard and possibly the garage down the street. It soon became clear that what sidekick needed was a truck with which to haul the dirt to some clandestine location.

Lucky for him, it just so happened that a fellow cacher had a truck and was feeling inclined to loan it out. So said cacher, who shall remain nameless, handed SSPG the keys to his truck with only the following statement, "You may need to jump it. Battery's probably dead."

Fast forward through some boring details that involve advice from the truck owner's brother, a business suit and a confused clerk.

And now....One fine Spring evening SSPG & LWB arrive at the truck, jumper cables in hand. (It pays to be prepared - which by the way is NOT the MAGPI motto, in case you are wondering.) SSPG climbs in the truck, turns the key and....click. One more try and....click. The intrepid duo took the logical next step - hook up the jumper cables.

Approximately 15 seconds later the following conversation occurred

SSPG: "Hey....whatcha doin'?"

Truck Loaning Cacher: "Heading home. Why?"

SSPG: "So.....I caught your truck on fire."

Truck Loaning Cacher: "WHAT? I'M COMING NOW!!!!!!"

And the point of this story? Well besides, don't give SSPG your keys?

You could see the flames from the cache site. It was a mighty blaze.
