This cache is one of a series of three caches we have placed for those fans of the Pixar movie CARS, all named after places in the movie. It has lots of CARS memorabilia, great for kids. Small plastic container with a red lid.
The town of Seligman is probably the place that really is the heart and soul of Route 66 to us. It reminds us of Radiator Springs so much, although it seems much more alive. Make sure you go in and visit Angel Delgadillo at his Route 66 shop as he was interviewed by the Pixar guys, as seen in an extra on the DVD. Plenty of parking, watch out for thorns and muggles. This cache will be maintained by friends who live in the area (not official geocachers) and by us when we are driving the road.
Just wondered if there are any cachers in the area who would take over this cache for us as we have moved out of the area.
