Monopoly in Wyomissing Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Rentell: When i took over this cache the monument that it was placed by was not taken care of at all and it was very easy to hide a cache in it, now it seems it is being maintained well and hiding a replacement container here is going to be difficult. With that in mind this cache has had a long and good run so it is time to archive this cache.

The history of Monopoly is over 100 years old. The original game, "The Landlord's Game" was introduced at the turn of the century but a court case that began in the mid 1970's opened up a vast array of history, stories, speculation and folklore. Berks County, Reading and more specifically Wyomissing plays a part in this history. 20 years before Parker Brothers bought the rights from Charles Darrow, the game was circulating through friends & family of Paul Sherk of Wyomissing. Check out the link to related web pages above for more history.

Oh, did I mention the cache is filled with $CASH$?
