Laem Phrom Thep is a must for every visitor to Phuket, at least for the Thai people. Endless numbers of Karaoke Videos have been taken here, and it is definetely the best Sunset Viewpoint of the island.

| The Lighthouse at Laem Phrom Thep features an exhibition of lighthouse technology since the beginning in Thailand. Really worth a visit and the terrace gives you a great view over the neighboring islands. |

The location is at the southern end of Phuket Island, and this is really the end. If you are going down, make sure you got good shoes, a cap or hat on, and at least one bottle of cool water per person. In the end some climbing is required, but you will not need extra gear. It might be a good idea to go in the morning hours before it is getting too hot.
Please hide the cache exactly like you found it. The area is visited by lots of people who don't know too much about geocaching... |

| After doing the cache you can get refreshments and food at the stalls next to the parking area. If you follow the road (Route 4233) to the north, you will pass some of the nicest beaches of Phuket (Ya Nui Beach, Naiharn Beach) and the spectacular Karon View Point. |
