besonders wichtige Person hier in Slubice ein Zuhause gefunden. Ein
interessanter Verbindungspunkt der gemeinsamen Geschichte von
Frankfurt und Slubice. Der Hauptfigur eines historischen
Ritterschauspiel, das auch unter dem Namen "Die Feuerprobe" bekannt
ist - ist dieser kleine Cache gewidmet.
EN: A very special person has found a new home here in 2008. An
interesting place which reconnects the shared history of Frankfurt
and Slubice. This unique cache is dedicated to the main-character
of an historic medieval knights play, also known as the "Trial by

Todestag des Literaten Heinrich von Kleist zum 200. Mal jähren. Aus
diesem Grund wurde am 4. März in Frankfurt (Oder), der Geburtsstadt
Heinrich von Kleists, das Kleist-Jahr 2011 feierlich eröffnet, dass
ganzjährig eine Menge kultureller Überraschungen bereit hält. EN:
Not everyone might know that this monument by Miroslaw Gorski was
first presented at the Wolnosci-Square in 2008 as a symbol of the
10th anniversary of the city-partnership between the german city of
Heilbronn and the polish town Slubice. The 200th anniversary of the
death of the german author Heinrich von Kleist will take place on
november 21st 2011. For this reason the hometown of Heinrich von
Kleist Frankfurt (Oder) opened the memorial "Kleist-Year" on march
4th 2011, which offers several different cultural-events throughout
the year. DE: Kleist war ein deutscher Dramatiker, Erzähler,
Lyriker und Publizist. Bekannt ist er vor allem für das
„historische Ritterschauspiel“ Das "Käthchen von
Heilbronn", seine Lustspiele "Der zerbrochne Krug" und
"Amphitryon", das Trauerspiel "Penthesilea" sowie für seine
Novellen "Michael Kohlhaas" und "Die Marquise von O…" Dem
historischen Ritterschauspiel, das auch unter dem Namen "Die

a german drama-writer, story-teller, poet and publisher. He is
mainly known especially for the historical Knight-theatre-Play
"Käthchen of Heilbronn", the comedy "The Broken Jug" and
"Amphytrion", the tragic love-story "Penthesilea" as well as the
novels "Michael Kohlhaas" and the "Marquise of O". The romantic
play, Käthchen of Heilbronn (Das Käthchen von Heilbronn) (1808) is
a poetic drama full of medieval bustle and mystery, which has
retained high popularity. This unique cache is dedicated to the
main-character of the historic medieval knights play, also known as
the "Trial by Fire". DE: Das Käthchen von Heilbronn oder Die
Feuerprobe (1807–08) ist ein großes historisches
Ritterschauspiel in fünf Akten und es wurde am 17. März 1810 in
Wien am Theater an der Wien uraufgeführt. Die Handlung spielt in
Schwaben, u. a. auf der Schriesheimer Strahlenburg. EN: Käthchen of
Heilbronn or The Trial by Fire (1807-1808) is a "great historical
knightly play" in five acts and was first performed at the Vienna
Theater on March 17, 1810 and then published in the same year. The
action of the drama takes place in Swabia during the Middle Ages.
