Geocache Description:

Our cache series is open to anyone to expand, to show the history of the Town of Leyland.

This cache is a small plastic tube, you will need a pencil.

Leyland has a long history for manufacturing Lorries, Buses and other such Vehicles.

This cache is located a The British Commercial Vehicle Museum, which houses many examples of the vehicles manufactured in the town over the last century; including the famous Popemobile, which was purpose built for Pope John Paul II's visit in 1982.

Well worth a visit!
