Canada geese are everywhere around the Vasona area, so one might reasonably assume these are baby Canada geese -- or goslings. But no, these are fully grown members of the goose family more likely to be mistaken for humming birds than geese. To avoid attracting predators (they are after all "bite sized") they hide quietly in dark places (such as decon containers).
This cache is a multicache of sorts though no of the usual kind where you have to travel to distant sites. Every thing is close by, you will, however, have to locate more than just the container to catch these geese. NOTE: At this time, the cache is a simple "one step" cache. I'm going to try to see if I can "retore it" to the original intended hide method. WERDAVE
The obvious approach is via Eaton Lane, but no parking is allowed on that street, so you'll just have to find another way. NOTE: The cache can now indeed be reached from Eaton Lane, but parking is a distance away on either side of the trail.
