Geocache Description:

Byron Park is located on Adirondack Lake just off Route 28 in the Indian Lake, NY area. The cache is intended to be a relatively quick find. Enjoy the park facilities while you are there.

Byron Park offers the visitor access to Adirondack Lake, Summer hiking trails and Winter snow-shoeing and snow-mobiling. There is also a pavilion area for picnics and family outings. The lake itself came into existence with the completion of a nearby small dam in 1932 and was originally called Byron Lake. It's a beautiful small lake and is one of the numerous lakes in the area that offer canoeing, kayacking and fishing.

The cache you seek is a camo bison tube a short distance inside the entrance to Byron Park. Cache contains a log only so please bring your own pen. Cache is very close to the entrance road and is winter friendly but snow-shoes would help if the Winter snow is deep.
