This cache is placed on a public footpath that takes you to the Kite Hill Plantation, where the woods are home to lots of different wildlife, wild flowers and ancient Tumuli's, it also has some great views across the Piddle Valley.
It is a walk of just over a mile to the cache and back from the given parking waypoint, along good tracks that will become wet and muddy after rain.
Please note that the cache has not been placed in the woods but on the public footpath that approaches it from the village's of Throop or Turners Puddle
.
The parking waypoint is for a few cars to park in the small settlement of Turners Puddle, where you can also do a small series of our caches, and a multi cache up to The Devil's Stone ( GC1A0JG)
You are looking for a small screw lid container in a camouflaged bag, that when placed contained a logbook, pencil, small swaps and an FTF prize.
