Geocache Description:

Choppard's Chase is a circular walk around a pretty little valley near Holmfirth. It takes in the hamlets of Longley, Choppards and Arrunden. The series includes 9 caches of varying sizes. Clues for the bonus cache are in the other caches.

The walk includes; narrow roads with no footpaths; woodland paths; and footpaths through farm land. Please observe the country code and wear appropriate footwear. If livestock are present, please supervise children and dogs well. Remember, this is the Holme Valley and valleys have steep sides!

If you are doing the circular walk, turn left at the end of the lane and head across the farmyard towards the wooden stile/gate taking you round the right hand side of the farm. This is not wheelchair or stroller accessible and you may encounter livestock.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no need to move anything or climb over anything to access this cache and please give the Hill Top Farm sign a wide berth.

If you are doing this as a standalone, it is wheelchair and stroller accessible and if any cattle are loose on the lane you are very unlucky!
