Geocache Description:

The Caledonia Classic is a series of dogsled races that take place every February in Fort St. James, BC. The start and finish line is very near to the cache on the edge of beautiful Stuart Lake in Cottonwood Park. Cache is a small micro, so please bring your own writing stick and write small! It should be winter friendly unless there is a lot more snow than usual. The park can be busy at times, so watch for muggles.

From the Caledonia Classic website:

Did you know?

---the Caledonia Classic is the only dogsled race in Canada that combines sprint, mid-distance, and long-distance races into one exciting weekend.

---mushers come from all over North America to race in the Caledonia Classic.

---Fort St. James is home to the most dog mushers per capita in BC.

Congrats to oldgala for FTF!
