Just another micro to pass the time. This is the sixth in my Cache-A-Week 2011 Series. I decided I would try to do 52 caches this year since I haven't contributed much in the last couple of years.
I decided to make a change from my "ChemCache" serieses as well, since there wasn't much room to show my sense of humor with those, so those that know me will understand most of the caches have a pretty bad pun as part of the name (or at least that is what I am trying for).
This one is near the old Erie County Field House. I remember going to some events here, including a few hockey games, when I was a child. Many years ago, it was closed as an athletic venue when the city opened the Erie Civic Center, and for a while, housed a company that made cardboard packaging. Now, it appears to be for sale.
The cache is near the old sign for this facility, on a very short road which only has 1-2 businesses on it. You should have little trouble finding it.
