The relocated cache is a cleverly concealed bison tube about 6cm in length. It contains a log - but nothing else. Bring a pen. This cache has a high level of difficulty but is well worth the search. Good luck. Please ensure that the cache is replaced in exactly the same position as it was found. Happy hunting. way-finder and hammich
Port watcher rejoice! This cache is located in a shady grove on the north side of the harbour entrance.. This 'scion' of the original North Branch is located a short distance from the first site - it is perhaps a bit more challenging than the original but I will reserve judgement until your comments are recorded. Good luck to FTF! Northport, the Rottnest Island ferry terminal is nearby. Emma Pl is a good access route, but there are others - part of the hunt! It's a good place for a picnic and to keep an eye on what's coming and going around the Port - and to watch for muggles. Rous Head Industrial Park was created in 1988/89 as an initiative of Fremantle Ports during dredging operations. Since that time, this prime industrial land has been under great demand for port-related and other industrial activities. There are currently proposals for a large small boat marina and a wind farm nearby too. Refer to www.fremantleports.com.au for more information and what's going on around this fascinating port.
