A Drive Through the Wild Cabrach - Blackmiddens & The Old Rifle Range
A medicine type container that requires the lid to be squeezed to open.
The cache is located at the old rifle range, parking is available nearby. Many walks/ski trails start from here. Don't know anything about the rifle range, ex military?? civillian??
Blackmiddens is a typical ruined Cabrach fermtoun - now being thankfully preserved.
Have a wee stroll up the road from the parking,to the gate, its clearly signed, you can't miss it. Unhook the deer fence ( or limbo dance under it ) & go through the gate, follow the track. Remember to take binoculars & camera, we forgot and were entertained by a large family group of crossbills for quite a while, wonderful!
