Geocache Description:

Big FTF congratulations to Georooks! A perfect way to finish the series and an awesome tale of man vs. nature! Well done!

This is the second to last cache in “Signal’s Portrait”, a series by Georooks. Rooks started with 3 existing caches, added 26 new caches, and these last two were a team effort. The 31 caches form a picture of a frog with no name to many, but we know as “Signal”.

The plain on which the caches are hidden is not particularly high – ranging from 570 to 725 feet in elevation, but Rooks and I liked the name.

First to find prize is a waterproof match container that I partially camouflaged. It was originally going to be the cache container, but Rooks provided larger containers instead. I liked the idea of the First to Find being able to place another cache.

The hide is not difficult - it really is all about the journey.
