Come one come all,
There is gonna be dogs on the grill, beans in the pan and buns on the table. I'm looking too be there about 6 and to fire up the grill at about 7:30pm. I will have some chips and condiments to. If you want you can bring anything you like, it will help. I will have a few coolers full of ice and some water. Times are tight so don't depend on me for all the drinks.
Getting to the event should be easy, even without a 4x4. From Deland, head west on State Rd 44 to CR42 turn right head north.After second curve look for the dirtroad turn right into the woods on a dirt road at N29* 00.390 / W081* 24.715 Head north about 500 feet, If you are concerned about getting stuck, you could park along 42 and walk in, but you won't be able to see your car from where we'll be chowing down, so don't leave any valuables in them.
Once we're all finished, the event will officially end and you will have a choice to make. You can head home with a happy belly, or hit the bushes for some night fun or try your luck on some of the other great caches from some infamous cachers...
If you elect to join in on the night fun, please read up on the cache(GC13TCF) so you'll know what you're getting yourself into. Some may want to bring at least one ice cold adult beverage to celebrate with, in the event you survive the hunt.
There will also be a few new caches placed for the event so for those of you that have cleaned out the area it another reason to come on out..There will also be some lucky names drawn to take home so FREE stuff....and we all like free stuff....
Because this is in the Ocala National Forest, I recommend long pants, long sleeves, hats, skeeter spray. Also if you choose to go stomping you'll need a good flashlight or two..For the balance challanged a walking stick would be a good idea also..
